SPENCER TEAMS UP WITH THE AMERICAN HEART ASSOCATION TO STOP THE NATION’S #1 KILLER

ELMWOOD PARK, NJ (March 25, 2010) – Spencer Savings Bank’s partnership with the American Heart Association to increase awareness of cardiovascular disease, the nation’s #1 cause of death, has resulted in $5,000 in donations. From February 15th through March 13th, Spencer employees and bank customers had the opportunity to show their support by purchasing paper hearts for in-bank display, chocolate roses for their loved ones and American Heart Association pins. All proceeds went directly to the American Heart Association.
