Spencer Savings Bank recently sponsored the “Fund-a-Meal” program at Eva’s Village to help celebrate the spirit of the season by giving back to those in need. Spencer employees, alongside a team of rookie players from the New York Giants, visited the nonprofit organization to serve a hot lunch to approximately 350 local community members.
“As we prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving with our loved ones, we must also think about those around us facing difficult circumstances,” said Jane Rey, President and Chief Operating Officer of Spencer. “This year, we were excited to return to Eva’s Village and continue supporting their impactful program that ensures community members have access to meals. It was a pleasure to serve our local community and engage with those who are actively working to better their lives.”
Spencer is a longtime supporter of Eva’s Village and is proud to partner annually with the organization in support of various events and programs. Spencer strongly believes in helping community members who are undergoing adversity and lends financial and volunteer assistance throughout the year.
